Sale date proceeding as planned, but...

In the interest of full disclosure, and to avoid frustration of all parties, I am providing some information here regarding my sale. 

I had initially hoped to warm up my tubers and allow eyes to pop / check quality prior to my sale. That way, I would only list stock that I was 100% sure of. However, given the logistics of my storage setup (a tiny insulated portion of my shed, which is at least 80 m from my house), the horrible weather we had (blizzard on February 15/16; I can barely get to the shed due to snow, let alone haul 300 shoeboxes to and from the shed), and a lack of space to sort through tubers (my garage isn't insulated, my basement has not space), I simply cannot check my 3,000 tubers prior to the sale. 

I have opted to keep the sale date, regardless, and only list 75% of the stock in the hope that I can minimize cancellations due to storage failures or quality issues. BUT, I want everyone to understand that, as with any other vendor, there is indeed a chance that a tuber will have to be refunded from your order. I absolutely hate doing this, but I also need to keep my sanity and do what is easiest for me. Reminder that this is a side gig for me; I work full-time, homeschool my kids, and have other life obligations. I am committed to communicating with you as soon as possible in the event that this happens, however. So you will not be blindsided.

I make my extra tubers available to you because it spreads beauty to your gardens and also provides some help to offset the costs of my hobby (lol!). As stated in several places around this website, if you don't like what you're reading, my policies, or you don't want to risk cancellations, etc. you do not have to buy from me. It's as simple as that.

Note that I have been spot checking tubers every couple weeks, and things do look good currently. But the end of March is still a month and a half away, so we never know.

 

Re-stock

All of the above said, once I am able to warm up tubers and to confirm eyes, I will post any remaining stock that comes available. I will also gladly combine shipping. Just send me an email with your order numbers and I'll make sure they're put together.
